Real real old school airbnb experience: real authentic Italian vibe. We slept on the top floor of a 130 year old building with real hardwood floors and a beautiful garden where we ate breakfast. Host was super charming and friendly.

Had a really good time in Gradisca while Alpe Adria Trail. I have been welcomed with a beer and directly felt very good in this house with the beautiful garden. Furio even gave me and two other hikers a ride the next day, because it was too hot to walk 29km. :)

Il Friuli è una regione splendida e (fortunatamente) ancora poco conosciuta dal turismo di massa. Anche per questo speravo di incontrare qualcuno che mi aiutasse ad orientarmi e che mi raccontasse il territorio e la sua cultura. Dopo una breve ricerca ho così trovato il BnB Eggenberg di Furio. Un luogo suggestivo dove soggiornare che non ha tradito le mie aspettative. Il BnB si trova nell'incantevole Gradisca, in una posizione strategica per visitare le zone dell'Isonzo, del Carso e del Collio, ma anche per spingersi verso la Slovenia. Grazie ai consigli di Furio, la mia ragazza ed io abbiamo visitato luoghi affascinanti, fatto il bagno nelle splendide calette dell'alto Adriatico, mangiato (e come da tradizione locale, bevuto) in locali tipici e dalla grande tradizione culinaria e conosciuto una magnifica parte d'Italia.
Il BnB è ricavato in una tipica casa friulana, con tanto di grazioso giardino interno dove poter riposare, leggere o bere un bicchiere di vino insieme al gestore. L'arredamento è pittoresco e a suo modo molto divertente, all'interno troverete pezzi da museo e una piccolo libreria fornita di ogni tipo di guida necessaria per scoprire il territorio. La mattina assaggerete poi le magnifiche colazioni preparate con cura da Furio e grazie alla sua squisita ospitalità non vi sentirete mai a disagio. La cultura e l'amore per la propria terra, fanno di Furio la guida ideale per orientarsi in questa terra di frontiera, carica di storia e di fascino. Il BnB Eggenberg è in definitiva un luogo imperdibile per chi voglia conoscere questa regione con il ritmo rilassato di una vacanza all'insegna della condivisione e della cordialità. In assoluto la mia migliore esperienza tramite Airbnb. Tornerò senz'altro! Grazie Furio 

The property was very charming and clean. The garden had an idyllic sphere and the perfect place to have a coffee (which the host regularly offered!). It was just a few minutes from the city center where I had a great dinner. The river is also just about 5 minutes from the b&b. It was quiet and I could enjoy a lot of privacy even though there were staying a lot of people at the same time. The host was overal super friendly and even gave me a lift to the airport so I could check out the city before I left. Marie BB.IT

I would really recommend staying at B&B Eggenberg! The owneris wonderful and thought of everything, even the airconditioner was already turned on before we arrived! The B&B is very clean, the prices are good and the (early) breakfast was very nice. Also the location is great. I will definetely come back at Eggenberg when visiting Gradisca!

We had an incredible time at Furio's beautiful home. He is a charming and generous host, invited us along to a concert in the town square and fed us delicious food, coffee and wine. Best of all, we felt treated like old friends come to visit. Thanks again, Furio!!

Ein außergewöhnliches B&B, mit ganz besonderem Flair. Man fühlt sich in frühere Zeiten versetzt und sofort entschleunigt sobald man den Eingangsbereich betritt. Der angeschlossene Innenhof/Garten ist ein Paradies für sich. Unser Hund durfte sich dort frei bewegen und hat das sehr genossen. Der Gastgeber ist wundervoll und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Frühstück sehr reichhaltig und sehr gut. Gerne wieder! Alles tip-top

hiking the alpe adria trail furios home is the best place to stay: a cold drink for welcome, a clean and nice room, the possibility to wash the hiking-clothes in the garden and dry them in the sun, and - the best - a marvelous breakfast (even early in the morning). a perfect host, thanks furio!

Furio was a great host!! Our stay was amazing! The room was super cozy and clean, with clean towels for us! Both the apartment and the garden were really beautiful and Furio made for us a full breakfast with all the goods at the time we preferred! Also, the shared bathroom was really clean, equipped with everything we needed and Furio would make sure it is clean after every time somebody used it.. I totally recommend Furio and his place! thank you for everything!!
